Prior Lake 5, Minnetonka 2

Minnetonka scored first but Prior Lake-Savage would come storming back to top Minnetonka 5-2 in quarterfinal action in Bantam A District 6 playoff action Tuesday at Chaska Community Center.

Derek Daugaard had a goal and two assists to lead the Lakers offensively while Matt Denman added a goal and an assist. Curtis Hansen and Drake Cartwright also scored for Prior Lake.

Goaltender Ben Smith stopped 17 of 19 saves for the victory.

Minnetonka was led by Johnny Ferguson who had two assists in a losing effort while Max Meyer and John Schuldt scored for the Skippers. Goalie Zak Elder made 18 saves in the loss.

Prior Lake will face Burnsville Thursday at Chaska Community Center
